Who am I?

I am a human, dog parent, design enthusiast, and problem solver. I love reading and playing games, especially puzzles, sandbox, and interactive stories. I enjoy design and organization in the physical and digital space. I’ve been told by a previous manager that I’m like a blend of Leslie and April (Parks and Rec).

What drives me?

I'm drawn to UX's intersection of science and design, where data-driven problem-solving leads to creative, user-centered solutions. I value structure, organization, inclusivity, and ethical considerations in design. I seek a collaborative team environment that critically evaluates decisions and considers unintended consequences. Ultimately, I aim to contribute to a better world through design, while prioritizing personal and professional growth through self-reflection, empathy, and optimism.

My Background

A Bay Area-based UX Designer with a Bachelor's in Informatics and a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction from UC Irvine.

For the past two years, I've worked as a UI/UX Designer at Axle Informatics, following a year as a UX Researcher there. My projects primarily serve the NCATS department at NIH, addressing complex topics for specialized users like scientists and informaticians.

Prior to Axle, I honed my skills as a Quality Assurance Tester at Apple, focusing on enhancing the fitness and health features of the Apple Watch.
